Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi have quickly asserted themselves among the Italian scene’s most exciting authors and performers. In this new production, Insel present themselves for the first time as choreographers heading a quartet of dancers. Insel means island, a stretch of land entirely surrounded by water and thus separate from other land masses. Here it is a self-contained space explored in a symbolic sense as a metaphor for one’s existential condition.
