Ambra Senatore | Centre Chorégraphique National de Nantes

Ambra Senatore divides her time between Italy and France, where she directs the Centre Chorégraphique National de Nantes. She will be in Turin, her birthplace, with her most recent creation, In Comune. In this work, twelve performers explore a dynamic micro-population, reflecting on relationships and life in society, the way of living together, and the relationship between the collective and the individual. Jonathan Seilman, a composer with whom she has been collaborating since 2016, tailors a score that explores the music speaking to what forms us, what shakes our cultural memories and our identities.
