Sur la route…is a starting point for reflection and for re-inventing new and original scenic language, starting from a physical handicap. “How can I continue to live – writes Antoine Rigot – I, a “physical” artist in a wounded body? Where do I belong? I know I belong somewhere. I do not wish to exhibit my wounded body, I want it to dance. I want to give it new life and new beauty. I want to invent the strange language of my new body. I have driven my limits further finding energy and an ability to communicate I lacked before”. Sur la route…. is a dialogue between the bodies of a wounded man and a tightrope artist, in a quest for the choreography of equilibrium.

Dance, cinema, optical illusions are but a few of the extraordinary elements that make up one of the most surprising works of these recent years, a joyful onomatopoiea, an invitation to a mirage and to play. Childhood dreams suddenly surface putting the rationality that guides our modern lives to a harsh test. First discovered at JTC 2004, Adrien Mondot, a computer engineer – juggler, creates shows that link the arts of the stage and of vision.

A show with great energy, a production that starts from the roots of movement to achieve a physical control bordering on virtuosity. As Gwenola David writes in Danser “two men cross, touch, attempt to flee… Nabile’s hip hop is at times a challenge, at times dialectic, releasing its rebellion through a frantic salvo or by seeking sympathetic support. With La Stratégie de l’échec the Collectif 2 Temps, 3 Mouvements unveils the intimate other side of society’s failures, signing a pièce with the force of a constructive, committed raised fist. Founded in 2006, the Collectif 2 Temps, 3 Mouvements engages in the energy of hip hop dance and contemporary circus language. Mathieu Desseigne is a stable member of Alain Platel’s C de la B ballet company.
