My Fierce Ignorant Step originates from Papadopoulos’s sonic memories of childhood and youth. The choreography unfolds through processes of collective synchronization, where dancers do not move together because they are synchronized, but become synchronized because they are together. The work creates a dynamic network of movements and sounds that generates and renews a shared energy, grounded in a bold trust in human connection.
