En Son Lieu is a solo piece in which Christian Rizzo, a French author making his first appearance in Turin, creates an atmospheric space where the dancer’s time decelerates and becomes suspended in an abstract place: a new form in which breakdancer Nicolas Fayol’s urban origins are extended across time and confined in space. Conceived for the open air and surrounded by natural scenery, the performance suggests that a new connection with nature may be possible.
