The key concept of Cristina Kristal Rizzo’s new project is to restore identity to the language of contemporary bodies that the pandemic has so threatened: a rediscovery and re-evaluation of their ability to resist, a celebration of their individual and collective powers. The intensity of dance is a central element of this re-appropriation. Japanese dancer Megumi Eda, an iconic Karole Armitage performer, takes the stage.
