After engaging with mountains, Piergiorgio Milano follows an artistic approach to engage with the sea. After an initial study on the Ligurian sea in which three performers danced above the waves supported by a floating sculpture with white sails, his experimental work shifts to the stage, creating a study that is a prelude to a forthcoming creation: a reflection on the fragility of coastal and marine ecosystems and our relationship with them. The sea, both as material and setting, is the central subject.
