Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui

This year Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui returns to Turin as choreographer of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, which he has led since last year. In Ukiyo-e, a Japanese term that means fluctuating worlds and refers to the evanescent nature of life, he seeks an answer to the solitude imposed by the pandemic period. In the process, he creates a rediscovered community built on harmony on stage.
