Conversation with Alonzo King

On the occasion of the performances of Deep River, which closes the 2024 edition of the Torinodanza Festival, choreographer Alonzo King, a global icon of dance for over a quarter of a century and founder of LINES Ballet in San Francisco in 1982, will meet the audience and engage in a conversation with Elisa Guzzo Vaccarino about his artistic journey and visionary style, which combines the neoclassical tradition with the fluidity of Afro-American dance.
