In Short Stories, Michele Merola explores an expressive landscape of brief tales, accompanying the dancers with a soundtrack that combines evocative lyrical sections for violin and solo voice. Adriano Bolognino draws inspiration from Skrik, the original title of Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream, a work that led the choreographer to investigate the themes of tragedy, anguish, and the smallness of man in the vastness of the universe. With Weirdo, Enrico Morelli explores the sense of inadequacy—that particular feeling of being out of place, different, sometimes wrong, judged, and often misunderstood. Three generations of choreographers come together for a special evening set against the backdrop of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper.
