Sofia nappi | KOMOCO
A young Tuscan choreographer trained between the American tradition and the Israeli contemporary scene, and considered among the most promising voices of the moment, Sofia Nappi presents Pupo in Turin, a work inspired by the great Italian literary tradition: Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, first published in 1823. The creation focuses on the physical transposition of transformation, following the process of metamorphosis in the character and morality of the puppet who didn’t want to grow up. The piece approaches the theme with subtle irony, drawing attention to the ambiguity of movement and the spontaneity of gesture typical of childhood.
