In this creation, Hofesh Shechter delves into the world of fantasy and the subconscious, revealing fears, hopes, desires and feelings that penetrate the realm of dreams and waking thoughts. From this uncontrollable stream of chaotic emotions and surreal events, a strange sense of clarity and reality emerges, where the mind dominates emotions. The dancers’ bodies give birth to an interaction between poetry and reality, accompanied by musicians and Shechter’s trademark cinematic soundtrack. For this occasion, he returns to collaborate with light designer Tom Visser, creating a powerful and sculpted space for this dreamlike landscape.
