The theme of beauty, aesthetic beauty that can be breathtaking and surprising, is very dear to Torinodanza: Plexus can be compared to an aesthetic lightning bolt, a visionary space in which a magnificent dancer moves without truly dancing. The performance brings together two artists that Torinodanza audiences have already met. In 2013, choreographer Aurélien Bory presented his Plan B, a masterpiece in the recent history of contemporary circus art. Kaori Ito is one of Alain Platel’s emblematic dancers, a Japanese artist it would be hard to miss during les ballets C de la B performances. They have joined forces for a show that is necessarily original and that comes to the Torinodanza stage after a highly acclaimed European tour.
