One of the most extraordinary pieces by Claudio Monteverdi, the most renowned figure of Italian Baroque music, The Combat of Tancredi and Clorinda, in 2024 will turn 400 years old since its first performance. This milestone becomes the occasion for an innovative multidisciplinary project where music, singing, theatre, and dance combine to create a joyful hybridization of performative languages. The choreography is by Philippe Kratz, while the direction is by Fabio Cherstich, whose work is marked by a meticulous attention to imagery and a passion for visual languages.
