Momentum DA is a tribute to the singularity of Diana Anselmo, a deaf performer bilingual in Italian and LIS. This creation unfolds as a tale, a movement of the body to the body, aiming to amplify and give space to the intrinsic possibilities of sign language—a living, bodily, and human language that speaks not of margins but of new forms. LIS and Diana’s body serve as an archive of ever-changing documents, linguistic monuments shaping a shared tale where the politics of a body in vital impulse merge, opening other levels of memory and connecting to history. The work is accessible to everyone.
