DANCE FIRST – 2025 EDITION

Torinodanza presents itself this year in a renewed guise: more intense, more focused, more attractive.  The program promises an ambitious vision, highlighting the importance of a dynamic and inclusive approach to contemporary dance. The international dimension of the festival, the desire to explore a variety of genres and forms, the commitment to support and promote Italian dance, confirm the festival’s historic vocation.

The renewed formula, shorter and more intense, aims to foster the participation of Italian and international professionals and audiences, confirming the city of Turin as a key reference point for contemporary creativity. The programming lines intertwine like the warp and weft of a dense network of activities that make up the body of the festival, which does not wish to be a showcase, but the sublime moment in which dance is fulfilled and theatre manifests itself as a simulacrum of society.

Production support, hospitality of the companies, audience care, complementary workshop activities, territorial relations and connections with local stakeholders are structural and founding elements of the festival. more »
