KIND

La trilogia della Famiglia è un’occasione unica che concentra in pochi giorni la visione delle ultime creazioni della compagnia Peeping Tom di Gabriela Carrizo e Franck Chartier, riconosciuti nel panorama internazionale quali autori di originalità indiscussa, creatori di una forma di teatro-danza dallo stile unico, originale, tagliente, radicale. Kind è l’ultima parte della trilogia iniziata con Vader, seguita da Moeder. I cambiamenti e le trasformazioni nello spazio e nel tempo – tipici del lavoro di Peeping Tom – saranno presenti in Kind, come lo sono stati nei due capitoli precedenti: spazi apparentemente familiari quali un reparto maternità, uno studio di registrazione, un museo, un appartamento, luoghi in cui pubblico e privato si intrecciano, dove passato, presente e futuro cercano disperatamente di ritrovare figure archetipiche in tutti i suoi possibili cicli di vita.

ENG Family Trilogy is a unique opportunity that over a mere few days presents the latest creations by Gabriela Carrizo (Argentina) and Franck Chartier’s (France) Peeping Tom company. They are internationally acknowledged as undisputedly original authors, and creators of a form of dance-theatre marked by a unique, innovative, razor sharp and radical style. Through their work, Peeping Tom’s choreographers have always explored new perspectives in portraying parallel mental universes, governed by ancestral laws, in which fears, neuroses and individual fantasies have an impact on conventional social interactions. The core of the project is an exploration of the most profound emotions and contradictions concealed in family constellations. In all three works, we find changes and transformations in space and time: spaces that are seemingly familiar, such as a maternity ward, a retirement home, a museum, an apartment, places where both public and private meet, where past, present and future desperately try to re-discover archetypal figures throughout all possible life cycles.
