VESSEL

DAMIEN JALET | KOHEI NAWA
France/Belgium/Japan

In his four-handed collaboration with Japanese visual artist Kohei Nawa, Vessel uses plastic forms to explore the world of nature and its changes: abstract creatures pass through the primary elements that transition between solid and liquid states. A hymn to the end of the world, a howl of pain against the devastation of water, earth and sky. This is a sculptural experiment with marble-like, acephalous bodies, suspended between a solid and liquid state for the entire duration of the play.
